Connery was the best 007 by far. Sean was a big tennis fan and followed fellow Scot Andy Murray. R.I.P.

Sean Connery was one of my favorite actors all time and was my favorite James Bond by a lot. He simply had the perfect combination of good looks, ruggedness, class and sense of humor for that role.

I’m only 29 so his Bond days were long gone by the time I started watching them, but he was still my favorite. Something about him in that particular role just transcends time. Almost like of all the Bonds, he’s the one I most believed could actually join MI6 in real life and do secret agent stuff.

He was a huge Scottish patriot and lived out his remaining years in self exile in the Bahamas because he didn’t want to live in a non-independent Scotland
