There is a formula, but it's mostly in someone else's head. It's creativity, talent, a unique perspective. I don't think you can put that on paper. I also believe that people that good at what they do make it look a lot simpler than it really is. I think from a distance it can look so simple to some they get to believing anyone can emulate it. But it's never as good as the real deal.
Pretty much why you just don't run across the next Paul Bryant and Nick Saban every year.

I don't think he harbors any ill will towards Bama specifically. I do think he is enormously frustrated that he can't get past Bama and Saban. Kirby should have a tile by now and has been constantly thwarted by his mentor. It has to be gut wrenching. He is probably resentful he can't beat Saban but he can't beat Ed Orgeron either. Kirby isn't the next Nick Saban

Me either. Lots of Bama fans tend to turn on former assistants as soon as they leave...Kirby, Cochran, Kiffin, McElwain, whoever. Guys who helped us win championships.

Not the point. He took the pictures so he could show recruits exactly where they were on our board. As in "Hey you don't have to take my word for it. You're 6th on their list of linebackers." All the while lying through his teeth about where the kid is on his own board.

He's a scumbag. His little locker room tirade prior to the 2017 NC game that got out told me all I needed to know about the guy. I wouldn't want my son playing for him.

I can’t speak for others, but I don’t have a problem with any of the coaches that have left- Kirby just left a bad taste in my mouth.
