The last thing people in Lake Charles need is a bunch of narcissistic football players that think their opinions fricking matter.

$10 says that not a single player on the roster knew the university president's name before today.

Are the football players oppressed? Did the president do something racist? What do they think they will accomplish?
Not sure, maybe there are still some issues on campus outside of football that they have concerns about. Hypothetically, what about first generation Black student form a rural town in a rural Louisiana parish. Comes to LSU and doesn't have a social network with institutional knowledge on Professor A, vs. B, vs. whatever.
Take a kid from another situation in Fraternity A that has Intel on every Professor and likely has potentially old exams, homework, lecture notes for every Professor going back 10 to 20 years.
So perhaps more resources to academic centers to help the rural Black student be put at more of an equal playing field to the White Fraternity A which has all the intel on a particular Professor and class, etc.
Again, purely hypothetical
Didn't Chesterton say, " Don't become so open minded that your brains fall out."?

So much for sports being an escape from this crazy political world.

Marching to protest the support of convicted felons. LSU is not getting another dime from me. No more extortion TAF fees, no more ticket fees. Nothing. Time to go fishing. Fish do not protest stupidity.

At this point, I'd be okay with it as long as they barricaded themselves inside.

The last thing the black community should want is social justice.

Tigahs will lose 5 games due to spending too much time marching and kneeling

I’m with you! I’m glad I got a perfect season, because I’m done supporting these leftist, Marxist haters. LSU gets nothing from me ever again!

If someone could ask Ryan Clark to STFU, that would be nice.

Imagine marching in support of a rapist shot by the police in the same month one of your former teammates left the team because of a sexual assault, and another one lost his pro career after beating a woman and being accused of raping women while at LSU.
