If the season gets played, is there any chance 10 conference games stick?

Sucks for lesser conference teams, but I’m sure TV networks are drooling over a loaded conference schedule. Fans will love it too and it’ll be hard to go back to playing 3 cupcakes and Tech some years

Doubtful on 10 but 9 might be a possibility for the SEC.

Depends on how the money goes. If boosters and TV wants it, I think there will be a huge push for it. Or, at least 9.

I personally would like to see every team play 10 conference teams and have the option for one out of conference. Not mandatory. It would allow players to heal. We as fans would get more quality games. No FCS.

I think it could, at least in some form.

There has been a push for at least nine conference games for a while, from both fans and coaches, and this could certainly be what finally leads them there.

some coaches... I know Nick Saban has been vocal about it but he's apparently in a small minority.

10 Plus one OOC would be nice...An even 5 home 5 away. Play more SEC teams from other division more often. Leaves one OOC for one marquee or rivalry game.

11 games is plenty especially if they expand playoff to 8 one day.

Yeah, I think both he and Gus Malzahn have been advocating for it.
