Perhaps explain why he's been struggling lately. He's probably got a damn partially torn miniscus or something if his knee is "inflamed."

They've been playing down Team injuries all year.

I bleieve musselman has a history of playing injured players on the down low based on previous pressers. not sure how I feel about that, guess with such little info though it's hard to know if it's bad or not.

Lee Wilson and Al Dillard are really taking up the slack that Joe left

If Stewart would start playing like we know he's capable of, we should win easily

I guess time will tell. He already sat Mason with a minor shoulder injury this year. He definitely has more motive to ask more of guys this year with us being so thin, though.

I said this in the other thread. He has been dealing with this for 2-3 weeks. I believe since Indiana, or A&M.

yeah I just remember him talking about a nevada team that had injuries no one knew about as well mostly. without knowing what the doctor said it's hard to say whether he's asking too much or not.

I'm ready to see Eugene Nash close out a game.

Haven't got to see him in a while.

That's my guess. I've had this knee injury for awhile and it's strange cause it doesn't hurt to stand or even run but it hurts to put pressure on it while it's bent.

I could easily see that affecting his shot because you can't bend your knees enough to shoot properly, at least not without a lot of pain.

I also think Joe has to be in the perfect shooting motion to make his shots. He can't be moving to the left or right at all and still make it. He really struggles to hit shots coming around screens even when he's healthy.

The downside of a small roster.

Yes, next season that won't be a problem but this year it is.

I would say rest him. Absorb a few losses. Maybe we move to the who knows if they get in bracket. Still, it is better to rest a player and let him get healthy for the home stretch then put him out there when he can't deliver.
