According to these facts they are.

did you actually read the fine print from the Site? They are subjectively adjusting Star ratings based on their perceived improvement of the recruit.

i.e. a 2 star from Minnesota rushes for 1200 yards, he gets bumped up to a 4 star recruit in their rankings. YET, they dont tell us who they bumped up from each team

How are these 'facts'?

ETA - Did ANYONE actually reading the link in the OP? This is a static recruiting ranking from a Michigan beat writer who thinks he's a talent expert.

So Purdue and Indiana is more talented than LSU? This is one of the shittiest lists I've ever seen.

The writer gives an example...

quote:

For example, Minnesota's Tanner Morgan was just the No. 1185th-rated prospect coming out of high school, but he clearly played above that last season. Therefore, he's now considered a 4-star in this metric.

Tanner Morgan - 3200 yds 30 TD 7 ints

how many other Minnesota players got a bump, knowing damn well players sitting 3rd string at LSU (among other schools) are more talented.

this is basically a returning production ranking
