He is going to leave in the next few years once someone offers him a good enough job. It will be interesting to see if he leaves for NFL or another college job. I would think he leaves for the NFL .

That would make sense. Any rumors of this or is this just a guess?

rumor has been 1.8 million per year for 4 years. That's significantly higher than the average NFL coordinator makes, which is about $1 million per year. The highest is Josh McDaniels at $4 milion per year

Tepper has the kind of frick you money that few others can dream about as evidenced by paying a first time NFL head coach $60 million over 7 years.

I think he is the richest owner in the NFL isn't he?

Still I think Rhule will go with someone with more experience than Brady.

Apparently Brady and Rhule have the same agent per the article, so it could be (A) they know eachother professionally through that

According to Matt Moscona, Brady didn’t have an agent until about a month or two ago.

agent is just working a new deal at LSU/getting the name out there.

This could be it.

A contract with LSU has to be approved by the Board of Supervisors which the next meeting is scheduled for March 6th. It could be agreed upon in principle, but I believe they have to wait for approval around this date.

With as much as they’re already paying the assistants and how much of a raise O is getting, can Lsu go over the top and pay Brady to stay?

His new deal here is going to be $1.5M-$1.9M a year if he wants it.

I'm assuming he will shop that to see what others could do and potentially drive up the price if he does in fact want to stay.

Joe Burrow was essentially considered a bum before Brady.

Yes, he would. That's an offense with potential, and Rhule is not an offensive coach. Unless his goals have changed from the NFL

Does this assume Ensminger leaves, or is Brady's $1.8m salary in addition to Ensminger's?

No idea, but considering what happened to his daughter in law, his age, him not necessarily wanting the job when he took it (took it to help out), etc, I could see him retiring after the season.

No idea here either, but if I'm guessing, Ensminger wants to stay long enough to get his full retirement benefits, otherwise, I agree he would probably just retire. But I think he needs a few more years in the LSU System. (not sure, just something I've heard)

My guess, he would love to go back to his TE coaching job, help out with the Offense as needed, and ride off in the sunset without all the OC stress, until he's fully vested in the State fund.

college "passing game coordinator/WR coach" vs. NFL OC.

That would be a tough decision.

A failed college football coach is now the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals....

It’s always about the money....
Nick Saban.

I would imagine Carolina would be willing to pay Brady a lot of money to have a coach on staff who understands the Saints offense.

My assumption would be he would be OC, or at least Co-OC
