*Update* Hogs #2 In The Country In D. Efficiency through 8 games * Now 3rd though 12*

Virginia has a sizable lead on us, but they also just held Maine to 26 points so nothing much we can do there. We have a sizeable lead on #3 and the rest of the field. Of course this high of a ranking won't last once we play NBA caliber bigs in conference play, but the D is here to stay, and we will be one of the top defensive teams in the country all year. Drink the kool-aid boys, if you haven't already. Muss is the man.

Our last few games is more around 25th than it is 2nd, but we are definitely one of the best defensive teams in the country.

We are the #1 three point defenders. As far as all categories go we are a top 15 in all defensive categories.

Well, it sure has been nice not seeing our opponent's top shooter left wide open for uncontested 3s.
It happened some under Nolan, but his teams also played great defense. When the other team scored, chances were high that we would come down the floor and answer.
Seemed to happen a lot under Heath, Pelphrey, and Anderson. Especially at the end of games.
Muss is doing great work already.
Overall, the SEC doesn't look that strong so far this season. If we can play .500 or better in conference play with no height or depth then we will be legit when reinforcements arrive next season.

Absolutely the best thing about Muss. Just play good defense and even if you have a bad offensive game you give yourself a shot. I want that to be our identity more than anything else. MUSS BUSSSSSSSS
