I honestly didn’t watch any of these guys play unless they played against LSU.

I trust the voters made the right calls.

What makes Brown better than Young? Relate your answer to Delpit and Okudah.

If your opinion doesn't change after this exercise, you aren't trying.

It's a game. You know, like a thought experiment? Have a little levity, man. "I trust the voters." Gimme a fricking break.

In a word, consistency.

Brown dominated every game he played in. Young didn't, despite the gaudy sack stats. Brown is every bit the "game wrecker" that Young is, but he didn't take games off.

Delpit was very inconsistent this year -- straight up bad at times. Think he won the award based on last year (I'll take it, but he was not the best DB in the country this year).

I kinda agree. Chase Young got that OSU bump. Both are elite, though, and are top 5 picks.

Delpit should’ve won it last year, but it seems to be an upperclassmen award now.

Brown had 2 games with 0 tackles. He recorded sacks in 3 games. He had 2 QB hurries and 2 forced fumbles all year.

Young had one bad game. He's literally more consistent in every way.

Delpit had more tackles, more tackles for loss, more PBUs, same number of sacks, and one less INT than Okudah.

Delpit was hurt most of season. Defense looked like shite. Was healthy last 2 games. Defense was lights out.

I think most honest LSU fans are surprised Delpit won.

Hell he was the third best DB in his team.
