So, the Dawgs are 11-1 and headed to the SEC Championship Game. East Champs. Yes, there are a few trolls on here who are not UGA fans who stir up the maniacal stuff and some UGA fans who like to live in that maniacal, sky is falling world. It’s where they find comfort.
UGA beat some damn good football teams this year. Won our big 3 rivalry games. Beat a top 10 ND team. 11-1 season. How could we not be happy? I mean actual UGA fans and not trolls.
For the non trolls, I think it was the uneasiness of the games. We, being UGA fans were seeing the signs... the “here’s where we are going to lose it sign”.. yet, we didn’t lose most all of those. The USC loss stuck with us all season too, to reinforce our frustrations. Yet, the team somehow held on to a lot of those games and won. More than we are used to.
The team has some holes and some issues and are winning in spite of them. LSU looks really good. They dismantled a team we struggled to score 19 points on. We also watched Auburn put up 48 on the #5 team. The same Auburn we held to 14 points. The same Auburn who held LSU to 23 points. You never really know for sure how a game will play out. If UGA had a better offense, we likely are 12-0 and going into this game with more confidence, but we have some issues on offense. We can hope that our coaches have been working on a plan to put some new wrinkles in to attack where we see LSU as most vulnerable. Some guys are gonna have to step up and make some plays. If not, it could not be a fun game to watch,
Either way, it’s good to beat all your rivals, be 11-1, East Champs, about to play in the SEC Championship and to be a Georgia Bulldog. Trolls and Negadawgs can lick my dirty a-hole.
Go Dawgs

3 straight 11-1 seasons
3 straight trips to the SECCG
3 years straight of being in the CFP or being in the “quarterfinals” with a great shot at advancing.
99% of CFB would kill to be us.

These are high times for us Dawg fans. My only issue is the lack of improvement which seemed to me a hallmark of Kirbys teams. I don’t think we make the CFP this year. And I think we’ll look back in a few years and wonder how. I bet there are 10 NFL players on our O right now....and the D is prob best in the nation.

Doubting he means all 10 are starting right now. Likely freshmen/OL backups included in that number.

Good times indeed.

11-1 3 years in a row is impressive considering all of the roster and coaching turnover.

We are competitive and competing for NCs. That’s what I wanted all along.

We haven’t been in such a great position since the early 80s. In it every year and dominating our rivals. This is a golden age of UGA football, i don’t get people who are unwilling to enjoy this ride or feel we are entitled to this success.
I’m surrounded by Hokies and Waahoos up,here and they’d absolutely kill to be us. I rib my coworker who is a diehard Vols fan on a daily basis.
We’d all love to get a Natty. People are tired of hearing 1980. So many schools have 0.
Anyways, I love my red and black
