How about Clemson? If they finish the regular season undefeated, who will they have defeated to demonstrate that they're one of the 4 best teams in the country? Honestly, how many teams on good or their best days couldn't go 13-0 against Clemson's schedule? The conferences are not equal in power, and that can weaken the meaning of certain rankings since certain teams don't have great competition for their conferences (Oklahoma, Clemsom, tOSU kinda).
Alabama doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs this season barring multiple teams losing at least one more game, and I don't think Alabama is good enough to win this year's playoffs anyways. However, I wish people would stop discrediting Alabama's schedule while giving Clemson a pass. Would Clemson beat LSU at home now?

I suppose you are right. It sucks as a fan because we I 100 percent want our team to play the best of the best, and we want more than 1 or 2 exciting, regular season games a year. I would think that Saban wants that too. Idk who is to blame.
Its unfortunate that UT, USCe, OM, and Arky suck so fricking bad these days. If we need to call the annual UT game, then I wish we'd do that if its clearly affecting our chances at getting into the playoff as a 1 loss team.

You know damn well if we play again LSU will hang over 50 this time. Nothing Saban can do about it no matter what type of defense Bama runs. Nothing Bama can do to stop this offense this year. Sorry

I honestly believe Saban would schedule better OOC teams. I believe him when he says no one wants to play him, bc Bama has proven willing to play a tough OOC opponent. so I don’t think it’s fear or anything.

I still love to watch the Saban clip of him ranting if you don’t win your conference you shouldn’t get a chance to be in the playoffs. Lmao. If Auburn had bamas schedule we would finish the season with 1 loss also.

Let the chips fall as they may. Is Bama top 4? No telling. I'd give them a good chance against any team in the country though. If the committee thinks Bama/UGA is top 4 at the end then they do.

I remember when L0SU got in over USC for the bcs game in spite of playing a much worse scheduled next 2003.
