Alabama vs LSU should be #1 vs #2.

If LSU gets by Florida and Auburn.
The ratings for this game might shatter previous regular season ratings. Why? Because everyone loves to see Bama lose and LSU would be a breath of fresh air for college football.
People are tired of Clemson, Bama, Oklahoma, and Ohio State.

America may be tired of that group in the playoff, but America loves to hate Alabama.

Exactly. People will watch to see Bama lose and LSU is the best bet until the playoffs.

They're in for disappointment if they're relying on LSU. The best bet for that in the regular season is at JHS

Alabama will not be in the Top 2 when the first Playoff Rankings are announced, unless several upsets occur.
If LSU beats Florida and Auburn, they'll be #1
If Ohio State beats Wisconsin, they'll be #2
The best Bama can hope for is #3 unless one of those other two lose a game. The schedule has just not been difficult enough for Bama to be at the top of the rankings.
My guess is that if Oklahoma beats Texas, they too will be ranked ahead of Bama at #3. Georgia, Clemson and Bama will fight for that initial #4 spot, IMO.

You don't really know how football and polls work do you? Bless your heart. When was the last time you saw something that far fetched happen in the polls. If Bama and Clemson keep winning they won't drop. Bama increased their lead on an off week when both FL and osu beat ranked teams.
