The Seahawks have released Jachai Polite from their practice squad. From a third round pick of the Jets in April to cut, unclaimed on waivers and then cut again from a practice squad.

Hate to see it.

He left a year early to make the big bucks. I hope he got his degree. Big mistake for most players to leave a year early, not all, but most.

This is going to be a huge warning to a lot of players who want to leave early. The NFL draft is now saturated with so many players that the "big bucks" are likely going to be harder to obtain than ever before.

He should have 100% stayed and worked on everything from getting stronger to his attitude.

I wish rules allowed for undrafted players to come back.

I hate the NFL and have watched zero minutes of their games this year and maybe 5 minutes last year.

Its a business and the staff doesn't have much time to teach anyone. Cold hearted and players that leave early should (and almost all have been told) know the risks. They are usually driving beer trucks later on when they don't have a degree.

He got cut for not showing up to meetings. Twice. If getting cut the first time did not teach him anything then another year in college would have not helped.

Mac guy through and through.

I wish him the best because he was a Gator.

Yeah, big difference between pros and college. In college they hold your hand...in the pros they will bite it.
