I'd like to think we're benefiting somewhat from its demise. Some posters that created accounts like ago are finally starting to post here and at least a dozen or so Gamecock fans have requested access to this board since this thread went up. TBD if others will join the other new guys in posting here but here's hoping.

I'd love to see some growth in the Gamecocks posters on this website.

I'm one of those people. I have been looking at both sites for a while now. I liked CT for recruiting info but preferred the interactions here a lot more.

To respond to the topic at hand; I was a fan of the Muschamp hire. I thought he would bring some fire in to the program. And I thought he would coach like he had a chip on his shoulder, like he had something to prove after Florida. This season is a big disappointment to me. I wouldn't mind getting rid of him, Tanner, and Cockytalk.

Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself and I'll try to post more. I like all of your perspectives and look forward to all the shite talking.

Great post and I agree with you. Its easy to see that you're former Cockytalk by your well thought out post.

This. I thought he would be good. I thought he could at least get us to a regular 8-9 win team with a "break-out" season every once in a while with his recruiting prowess.

I was also excited with the prospect that because we gave him his 2nd opportunity, that he would remain loyal to us if other schools came calling.

But this season has officially gotten me off of the Muschamp train.
