Put wrong year but the point still stands. It has nothing to do with this season.

Why would it?

It was the start of a current 3-year trend of Kirby getting destroyed in SECW stadiums.

If you don’t like 2016, then let’s look at 2017 when Kirby lost by 23 to AU.

If you don’t like that one then let’s look at last year when Kirby lost by 20 points to LSU.

It’s not like he’s losing by a FG, they’re heavily lopsided losses. Maybe he gets scared, they are hostile environments after all.

It was the start of his coaching career...geez,why do you keep obsessing over this? Aren't you the LEAST bit concerned over your own coaches road record over your 3 biggest rivals?Over the course of 6 years?

WGAS.How exactly did that affect us going to the SECCG and the NC game?

And how exactly did that stop us from going to the SECCG?

You REALLY think this trolling is making any type of point?

Bama ROLLED over the West last year and didn't have a tough game till Atlanta. It was freaking embarrassing for the rest of the division.

He's 2-2 there... Gotta love that Bama math.

Yep, 0.500. What’s his overall winning percentage? Like I said, he does poorly in Atlanta.

Gotta love that Georgia math. You must be the pride of the HOPE system.

Look man, you seem alright but some of your brethren are taking yourselves way too seriously on this thread. This is the Rant. How many times has Bama’s run been declared dead on here after one game? You can be damn sure that something that happens across 3 or 4 games will be considered a trend. And the fact that Georgia hasn’t just lost but has gotten absolutely smoked every time they’ve played in the West is pretty funny. Happy Friday!

It's 3 games in 3 years, 3 different UGA teams, against 3 different teams. One is Kirby's first year as a head coach. Maybe it's not as big of a trend as you think it is?

I think his point was more so that there isn't some weird grand hex from SEC west stadiums. 2016 is irrelevant, 2017 AU was ranked #2 and damn good, and LSU was mighty strong last yera as well. It is realy more about "uga has lost on the road to some really excellent teams".

Apparently Gus didn’t.

no prob, it's reaely not difficult to comprehend. Except for our rivals apparently. I wonder why no one has ever asked "why can't SEC west teams win in athens?"

2016: Top 10 AU comes in against a mediocre uga with 1st year staff and loses

2017: MSU is in the top 20 after upsetting LSU and gets their doors blown off

2018: AU gets spanked again
