Sad for him, but he is smart and has set himself up nicely. The Vandy and Clemson games from last year stand out to me. Loved his intensity.

So he’s apparently going into coaching, I can see it. He has an enthusiasm and love for the game.

Muschamp announced Saturday in the post scrimmage presser, that the neck injury wasn't the reason he decided to hang up his cleats. The Doctors looking at his MRI discovered a cyst on his spinal cord that predisposes him to a severe spinal injury. Weighing his options, Kiel decided to retire rather than having something catastrophic happen.

In someways, the neck injury was a blessing. They never would have done the MRI otherwise.
