One Year they got whooped 38-7 by Kansas State in the Big12 Championship game and still got to play for it.

(I know hypocritical coming from a Bama fan.)

1-3 in BCSNCG

Pretty sure whoever won the most BCS Championships is the best.

They have lost 4 in a row to SEC teams in meaningful post season games: LSU 03, UF 08, UGA 17, Bama 18.

They were certainly the most consistent throughout ('98-'13). Big Game Bob though...

Seems like they consistently got kicked around by the SEC

The real rankings should be:

1. USC
2.Florida
3.LSU
4.Ohio State
5.Alabama
6.Oklahoma
7.FSU
8. Texas
9. Miami
10.Auburn

Florida might be too high.

Ridiculous argument. No way in hell USC, Alabama, LSU, or even Florida trades their BCS era history for OU's.

OU's past 20 years = Rack up a ton of regular season wins on Big 12 cupcakes & then get arse kicked over and over again in championship stakes post-season games

BCS seasons: 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2013..... (4-5) record, winning each the Rose, Sugar, Fiesta, Orange.....(1-3) in BCSNCG

They rank based on appearances and victories of the era. Non-BCS years they account for.

If they solely base their rankings on just BCS success, OU is not #1. I’d have it at:

1. Ohio State
2. Southern Cal
3. Oklahoma
4. Florida
5. Florida State
6. Alabama
7. LSU
8. Oregon
9. Virginia Tech
10. Texas

Rankings are based on opinion of what they did, whether win or lose.

Must be written by the same guy from the More Sports Board who said statistics proved that Lebron’s finals record of 3-6 is better than Jordan’s record if 6-0. It’s the new math for a generation who grew up receiving participation trophies in every sport. They equate winning a championship game to playing in them or in the semis. It’s ridiculous.
