Would the outcome have been different with this upcoming rule?

the NCAA is making a change to OT where if a game reaches a 5th overtime period teams will begin alternating 2 point plays rather than offensive possession starting at the 25 yard line.

No because rules were bent in that game anyway.

With this new rule, I think our record of highest scoring college football game is safe, LSU fans.

This melt makes that victory even more sweet.

"You People" have so much to look forward to this year in football!

Lol. You honestly an objective person would have let the game be called final and then search for anything to call back the game for? What about the fumble where he made a football move by turning down the field? The PI to give y’all a second chance at a 2pt conversion where the ball was thrown like 8 feet out of bounds? Congrats on the win, but poor refereeing happens all the time and it’s not melting to point it out. I swear that word doesn’t even have a definition anymore

Yeah, this rule is awful. That's a horrible way to decide a game.

The one rule change I wish wouldn't have happened.
If it takes 20 OTS, so be it. Let em slug it out.

My Lord, what a sweet melt.

But there was clearly a second left when the ball was spiked.

What about the fumble where he made a football move by turning down the field?
But he didn't get the second foot down. (That one was close, but not enough to overturn the call on the field.)

The game was tied at that point, so that call gave A&M another chance at the conversion, but that's it. And the LSU DB was all over the WR.

In English Please???

Even the Advocate questions whether that was a fumble.

Which one are you talking about. The Advocate didn't discuss that one, I don't think.

Yes, it happens all the time. It's part of the game.
It is melting when you refused to admit defeat.
When you say: "No because rules were bent in that game anyway." That's passively discrediting the victory.

On this point you are correct. It is overused and improperly used all the time.
We just get tired of hearing that it was not a real win.
