Tennessee has only won a combined 10 games vs their 2 biggest rivals Alabama and Florida in the last 20 years. Then you add the three straight wins by vandy. Wow! Didn't realize how far they had fallen.

Tennessee just took a huge hit these last 10 years in all sports honestly. I remember the days when they were competing in the East

Thy have got the right combo of people there now. A base of Alabama coaches and support lead by Pruitt (and Rick Barnes off the Wimp tree in BB) with the old fat snake clearing the way for them. If the fans stay on board they will get the football thing turned. Which is the hard one since it's like creating a force out of a retreating and defeated army around and turning them into a fighting machine. And JP took strong steps toward that end.

I think two of those were Ron Zook. One was Spurrier. One was McElwain. Meyer, Muschamp, and Mullen are undefeated.

ETA: Just realized our last four coaches all had last names that start with 'M'.

Picking a 20 year time frame actually makes them look better than they really are. Those wins are almost all front-loaded.

They are 1-23 in the past dozen seasons.
