It should be in full swing this year. I'd like to see us average 14 points or less a game over the season. I think Campbell getting pulled towards the end of last season will be of tremendous value because Stokes got some valuable playing time and now we have two CBs with game experience as well as a stud or experience at every other position.
Our big bodies up front combined with our new depth should allow us to consistently stuff any run game this year and we have enough experience and talent on the back end to run more man coverage.

It's possible that UGA will be fielding the most talented defense in our history from a talent perspective (not experience, though).

If you are comparing experience this year with the overall history of all of our defenses then you're probably right. However this Defense has quality experience returning.
The only players we have to replace are D. Baker, J-Led, and D. Walker. While those are 3 key losses, the guys behind them have played enough to step in and not miss a beat.
The new 2nd string guys are talented enough to be able to play limited snaps and not cost us while our starters rest a play here and there.

Yeah, I meant all-time experience. Number 1 on talent and probably top 15 in experience.

I still think we are about two monster interior DL away from being totally dominant. Our interior DL will be really good, but still ... two 5 star monster man eating feral beast of a DL. That's the only thing we lack.

I agree. The best defenses in football history have had dominant interior linemen. That's how you stuff the run without having to send extra people.

maybe..problem so far has been the secondary and coaching(gameday)..maybe this coming season the talent will cover some of those weaknesses,

I'm not sure Rochester has the mean streak or the drive to be as great as he should be. Davis I believe has that. Rochester hasn't lived up to the hype.
