Oh, and if you need a mattress go to a local, independent shop. Their mattresses are usually better than the big names, and cheaper.

what about these online ones that get delivered to you?

Their whole business model is based on being cheap.

I've never had one so I can't attest to the quality, but how much quality do you really expect when they come rolled up in a box?

I have literally no clue.

I got my mattress in North Carolina, we are the furniture state or something right?

$3,000 for a king mattress is a tough pill to swallow.

"You spend 1/3 of your life in bed!"

That's what they told me when I was busy buying a $2,500 King mattress several years ago from Mattress Firm.

They also will tell you that the firm mattresses break-in.

Well they fricking don't.

You never see people in a mattress store. And they almost never go out of business.

Why???
Because people keep sleeping on them?

My brother has one on his guest bedroom bed, and it's comfortable enough. I think it's a Casper, maybe Leesa. I think the issue with them is the verdict is still out on how long they'll last.
