What’s the rule on blowing a play dead for a false start and not calling a false start?

I’ve never seen an official blow a play dead for a false start then decide against calling a false start. Is there even a rule on the matter or does it just almost never happen?

If you're talking about the LSU -TxA&M game, the dumbass ref called a false start when the fullback started in motion; they conferred and said "that was a brainfart; he is allowed to move."
One of our linebackers was blitzing unblocked and about to blow the play up for at least a five-yard loss if not disrupting the exchange and causing a game-ending turnover, so in effect it was "we blew an inadvertent whistle to save the Aggies from a potentially disastrous play. *whew*"

Decisive play that directly determined the final score.

No, the one at the end of regulation was legal for that exact reason. It was the one in OT where the TB twisted and leaned that was a false start that wasn't called.

AnM is so clearly insecure about the legitimacy of their win
