As a fanbase, has LSU done a whiteout before?

I’m pumped about it. Should look good on TV.

Actually yes, 1996 against Vandy. At the time the visiting team had the discretion as to whether they wanted to allow the home team to wear white or not. Vandy said no bc they were salty about Dinardo leaving & were involved in a lawsuit with him over the buyout. We wore gold but LSU fans wore white.

Was there...my last season in the ss.

And yeah, we bitched about people leaving early back then, too.

I don’t feel we do the “wear certain colors” to the game well. But that’s just me. No need to artificially hype the game. It doesn’t need it. It just turns into something that will be thrown in our face in the event of a loss.
