He wasn't the starter before he re-injured his foot (though he may have still been working back from the first injury).

I dont know about where he is in his rehab (saw him on the bench Saturday all dressed out and shite, and working to get the line ready pregame)... BUT, something is needed on the front. It has been "less than" most of the season and doesnt seem to be getting better. Bama has about a month until the Shite gets real and they will need a good front. If Matt77 is the answer, then very good that he is about ready to rejoin (at whatever position is needed0

he was a starter last year. Wasn't he held out of spring due to this foot.

Yea, and he started the fall as second string right tackle. I'm not sure if he'll ever be a starter again

I agree but he was never 100% starting in the spring thus leading to his surgery a while back. He should be a great option off the bench if someone is having a bad game. Didn't we have 2 holding penalties last SAt.

I'd like to see if he could play Cotton's position

I know we had 1 holding but it could have been more. I tried to ignore the line after a little while

I don't think Womack get his starting job back, but if the guard is struggling in run game.. who knows?

In all fairness one of the holding penalties was when tua held it a long time. But tua had plenty of time to throw so kudos for that. Then there's the run game

Womack's 6'7"...I doubt playing guard is viable for him...a guy on the inside that tall could block Tua's view of the passing lanes...

If we want to put the best 5 on the field next year, we could move Leatherwood back to LT, slide Wills in at RG, and have Womack at RT.

I suspect Womack will be the starter again in 2019.

O line problem could easily be fixed with 1 deletion and 1 addition. Keys-Stoutland

To my knowledge he is a backup now. He may challenge at guard but it certainly won’t be for Wills spot.

So you can complain about Stoutland’s lack of recruiting in 2-3 years? Because that’s exactly how it would go down again.
