Who in the world is throwing 84-85 now? Nobody was throwing that last year. I figured Lessley might be number 1 and McGrady or Thompson 2. Zac could fling it, but didn't have the control needed to be effective.

To be honest, I am only guessing. 80-82 might be tops and only hitting that on the rare occasion. McGrady and Thompson may have been their Top 2. Thompson doesn't throw hard, but dropping down from that arm slot and from the left is tough.

It can be and he had some descent off speed to go with it. Glad to hear Avery was getting good playing time on the mound. He’s a buddy if my son.

Cullman and Hazel Green split last night.
Cullman won game 1 by the score of 5-2.
Hazel Green win game 2 by the score of 2-1.
In game 2 HG was down 1-0 in the bottom of the 7th, with a runner at 1st and 2 outs when Duskin hit a HR off of Morrison and sent the ball off the scoreboard to win game 2.
Game 3 today and winner advances to state finals.
On the bump for HG is Miss State commit Jackson Minor (LHP) from what I'm being told.
Ps...dear Alabama Baseball staff, reach out to this kid and steal him away from MSU...please.

Andalusia swept Bibb county and will play the winner between Oneonta and Hokes Bluff for the 4a title. Those two split the first 2 games.

Hazel Green wins the series 2-1 over Cullman and advance to the 6A Championship game vs Helena.

@ #4 Oxford - won series 2-1
vs #6 Austin - swept 2-0
@ #7 Hueytown - swept 2-0
@ #2 Cullman won series 2-1
