Louisville ticket prices

Lots of tickets...at least 200...available on StubHub now for under $55. Many in blocks of 10, so probably from brokers or some other source. Face value...at least for the lowest Tide Pride level, is $85. If they're under $55 now, they will likely drop farther.
I always thought this game was going to be a hard sell...Lamar or no Lamar. Even with the specter of Tua making his first start, these are bargain basement prices...basically similar to Arkansas State prices.

Bad match-up, non marquee name, small fan base, weird venue in a weird town, outdoors in late August

Agreed.....I think several factors play in to this.
We have played an opening neutral game sit for 10 years.
Couple that with a decade of dominance which entails going to BCS/CFB playoff and championship games......makes this one a tough pill to swallow.
I'm sure they are selling the idea of Orlando over Labor Day weekend, but it is still a pretty mediocre opponent.
If this game were in Atlanta it would be no problem. For folks to travel for a beginning of the season game greater than 3-4 hours away, they need to have a pretty marquis match up, and this ain't it.
I think scheduling these are getting harder to do, coupled with the fan outcry for a good home and home series, we will see these games go away.

Too much money for them to go away completely. I think they heeded the fan's complaints which is why we got ND and Texas. Need more home and homes and a marquee neutral maybe every third year or so.

i'm debating on whether or not to go.

I’m considering going and I’ve only been to one of the recent kickoffs (WVU). This one is calling my name for some weird reason. Have had conflicts with the ones in Dallas but hoping to go to USC.

I concur, it is all about the Benjamin's, but it'll truly have to be a marquee game. Like the 2020 match-up with USC, however, we just played them 2 years ago....we need something like an OU or OSU. A big time program we haven't played in a while. Considering last years ticket to FSU was $125 for Tide Pride members and this years ticket to Louisville is $85, speaks volumes.

By gametime, they'll be giving them away. Folks in central and south Fla. couldn't care less about this game and Louisville doesn't travel well, PLUS Alabama's a 28 1/2 point favorite and it's a helluva trott for Tide fans, so don't buy a ticket now...go down and get what you want for little or nothing....speaking from experience.

I bought the two FSU tickets and sold them for double. That ain't happening this year.
This was just a bad decision all the way around. Heck, even a return to Jacksonville would have been better...at least the beach is there.

Good game to bring the kids to and tie in a trip to Disney. Otherwise, blah.

Yep - Agree with that. With the SECCG and playoffs the novelty of traveling to a neutral site has worn off for Bama fans anyway. We expect we will get to the championship game and then the playoffs so it better be a damn good game for the opener. Louisville and Duke ain't it......

50-yard line Club level are in the 250 to 300 range. Less on the Louisville side. I'll probably drive over from Tampa around noon on Saturday and see what's available around the stadium.

You guys complain a lot. It's a practically a free game ticket in a town that's easily and cheaply accessible via direct flight for 90% of UA fans against a P5 opponent. It's 45 minutes from the Atlantic beaches, and less than an hour and a half from Tampa.
