Not that huge from an X's and O's standpoint but it proves that Saban is horrible to work for. I wonder if good, young coaches want to go there anymore. The talent pool has to be running dry at this point.

As long as Bama has the player talent to work with it really doesn't matter who is calling plays. They almost won a natty with Sark running their offense and Hurts at QB - let that sink in for a second.

Of course they want to coach there. It’s like Harvard Law for coaches. It’s the million dollar bullet on their resume.

Yep, nobody wants to go coach at Bama. May as well shut the school down, they are done. Oh wait... none of that is true.

I disagree. I see it as a good program that provides development for coaches and staff that opens up doors to further their careers.

Same thing is happening at UGA.

No it doesn't. Kirby was with Saban for 7 years and only moved on after he got a golden opportunity at Georgia.

I can't help but think that losing your OC and D.C. In the same season will cause some disarray if nothing else. This could open a window in 2018.

Agree absolutely squatch. This hasn’t happened to Saban since he started his run.

Daboll was frustrated with Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban because Saban wanted to stick with Jalen Hurts at quarterback when the offense was slumping in November while Daboll wanted to play freshman Tua Tagovailoa

This is interesting if true.

I heard the same thing. Even a few players said this, but not so Saban could hear them.

All this just sounds like wishful thinking that the wheels are falling off of the saban train. I mean I get it. That mother fricker is the only thing that keeps standing in our way of a national title.

Getting to be the OC of a NFL playoff team does not prove that it sucks to work for Saban. It proves that he got a hell of an opportunity.
