unless there has been some serious patching. I think the NBA2K18 MyGM mode is pretty broken this year from what i've read. Let me see if i can find you some YouTube videos. And I maybe wrong. Someone else on here I am sure can verify or deny.

it's a really good game. i've had it for a year now and my friends and i still revisit it from time to time.
lot of weapons and gadgets.
lots of vehicle types.
lots of maps.
good single player campaign.
very few glitch / server side problems nowadays.
fairly immersive as far as a WW1/WW2 FPS. but if you are a history buff, some of the guns/gadgets/vehicles aren't exactly factual to the timeline.

seems like you've talked yourself into it. i think you'll enjoy it.
get "Battlefield 1 - Revolution" edition. $39.99 on amazon. all DLC included for less than the price of a full game. It'll probably contain battlepacks which will give you XP Boost to help you obtain some of the better weapons faster.
First game mode you should try is Operations. It's a fricking blast.

yeah, i don't have problems finding full lobbies on the xbone when i feel like playing. i'm sure PS has even more active players, as the player base is bigger.
i mean hell, all the BF games still have good server #'s. We also play BF4 from time to time and there are dozens of lobbies with queues waiting to play.
the player counts definitely spike when new DLC is dropped.

I think BF1 is fun, but I get bored of it too easily. I prefer shooters like Overwatch or Team Fortress 2 which have a wide variety of game play.

It will be nothing but everyone running the same overpowered assault rifle. BF1 was the worst of the entire series. well outside of hardline.

What? Bf1 walks circles around hard-line. Hardline was absolute hot garbage and should have been an expansion to bf4, not a standalone.
The operations alone put bf1 light years above hardline

I had never really played an online FPS before BF1
It is an incredible game, visually, historically, playability, everything.
Just superb. Easily worth it
