Conference will get more than 2-3 teams in. Those were some embarrassingly lean years

It's really awesome.

Yea I know - I was just noting how incredible the depth of the conference is now.
I mean, LSU is a dang solid looking basketball team and they are still 14th in the league in KenPom. The 2013 LSU team went 19-12 (9-9).......they were 102nd in KenPom. This team is arguably better than that one.

If you want to know how good your team is doing. Look at the offensive and defense efficiency rankings in KenPom. If the team is ranked in top 20 in both, it’s going to be a great year. KenPom is a good gauge.

This is the definition of a rebuild but I think they’ll lay it on the line each night and surprise a couple teams. SEC is pretty stacked. I think LSU can win 7-8 SEC games if they beat the teams around them like Vandy, Ole Miss, State, And UGA.
And I know 7-8 wins isn’t that impressive but LSU won TWO last season with Johnny Jones

Wade is a very good coach and LSU has some talented guys. When Sampson gets back that is a legitimately good team. Not much depth, but they have a lot of long athletic guys, a great PG and some erratic scorers.

Thin as hell in the post. Reath is good and Epps can fill in down there but past that it gets rough

Please be more specific, I don’t think anyone understands what in the world ‘in’ would mean. Thx

even more incredible is that espn rpi has 11 of the 14 teams in the TOP 55! holy cow that's crazy

There's only one RPI. It's the same formula on all sites.

lsu:
espn - 105
realtime/cbs/warrennolan - 122
ncaa - 121
clearly, they're doing something different and still calling it "rpi." and that doesn't even include kenpom's "ratings."
