I hope that this isn't a troll thread because he's a hell of a human being. He overcame a lot of shite to get where he is and he pays it back.

that is an incredible read, thanks for sharing. We often times make these human being simply objects for our sports pleasure.

It doesn't mention a lot of other things that went down in his life that a video on SEC Nation? did. I can't find the video now, but I know that I watched it. There was one point, before he was even a teenager, where he had a gun and was going to kill his abusive mother... a complete POS, before his dad talked him out of it over the phone.

Fantastic story, rooting for him! Always cool to hear the background these kids come from. I learned about how Sony Michel's parents brought him over from Haiti for the first time during the SEC Championship and he's been at Georgia for 4 years. Really puts into perspective how much these kids put in for our enjoyment on Saturdays.
