Agree with others. Really good DC but I'd have concerns about HC potential.

Tell your friend not to worry, Merlins ain't taking the Tennessee job.

All I know is sack numbers have been up since he has been D.C. And biggest complaint of Kirby defenses was the mush rush aka no QB pressures.

He didn't ask about petrino or Jimbo Fisher.

the thing that I love about him. Dude isn't afraid to turn the dogs of war loose.

It's great no doubt. Just saying we've been way more vulnerable against screens.

Pruitt is awesome. Has absolutely no problem with getting a program to make changes. We got a brand new IPF because of him

He's 4-0 against Auburn as a defensive coordinator. That includes a win over AU in the 2014 BCS National Championship Game when he was with Florida State; wins in 2014 and 2015 when he was at Georgia; and in 2016 at Alabama.

The dirty secret about Auburn's offense is it can be had if you simply go conservative. The tricky stuff that other DC's run get absolutely killed by them. I don't need to even watch the Mississippi State-Auburn game to know that Grantham got absolutely destroyed by Auburn's offense again.

And that's what Pruitt does, go conservative. But I still wonder, with Alabama being banged up, if his streak ends this time.
