This is UGA's year. Hate to say it, but it feels like they have the best team in the East. We'll see how much UF develops between now and the WLOCP. UF is the only obstacle for the muts.

Next year our offense will be really good and our defense will be young and talented. Basically the opposite of this year so that will be interesting. I'm also interested to see what SEC teams will take the next step.

You guys remind me a lot of Bama's 2008 team. In Saban's second year, we went 12-0 in the regular season and then lost to Florida in a heartbreaker where we had the lead going into the 4th. Then the fricking Utah debacle.
But you could tell we were still a year away from being elite, but still had a damn good team.

I think that is an accurate analogy from what we know thus far. Spot on, but take this from someone who has followed the Dawgs 4 decades. This team is not a Richt team. It would be more accurate to call it a Saban team if you must. What I mean by that is that the consistency is apparent from top to bottom.

I think its the depth that has been developed at all positions, except perhaps at cb that is the big difference.
