We Got Rolled.......TIDE! and I'm sincerely sorry.

I posted a topic about whether it was too late to pledge allegiance to Bama before the NC game and most of y'all were good with it and I truly appreciated the invite to cheer on the Crimson Tide. So it's 2 days gone by and I'm just now shaking off the disappointment of Bama losing a tough fought battle for another NC.

I'm gonna come clean, I had to go to bed before the game was over because I get up at 4:30AM for work. So we go up 14 to 7 and Ryan Anderson is holding the Championship belt, I figured he was confident we had this sucker in the books so I hit the DVR, finish my Wild Turkey and hit the sack.

About 12:30 the wife comes to bed and she wakes me up, she starts to talk about the game and I said "whoa, don't tell me anything, I DVR'd it so I can watch it while I'm getting ready for work!" I think I pissed her off.
So my plan was to make coffee and get a little breakfast while watching the game until Morning Joe comes on, at which time I could celebrate with my boy Joe Scarborough.

Uhhh, WTF! No celebrating with Joe! So I fast forward the DVR to the Clementines possession that gives them the lead 35-31......, are you frickin shitting me! I don't know whether to melt, cry, slap the cat or smash the frickin TV. This loss is on HCNS, we don't have a talent issue. Hell, we got a bench that has better talent than the starters for half of the P5 universities.

Yeah, Yeah, Saban has 5 nattys, that's fine and frickin dandy but he may not get back to another. Saban pulling the shite he did right before a NC, fire your damn OC? I had to wonder what in the hell did Kiffin do to get his arse shite canned right before a NC game. You don't think Saban didn't have some regrets about firing Kiffin early Tuesday morning while he was laying in bed?

Then I got to thinking, maybe, just maybe we were watching Swinney's audition for the HC job at Bama. Look man, Dabo is a true Bama boy, born in Bham and played for the university......, Saban is from West VA, he aint a southern boy, hell he's a damn yankee hillbilly and I aint saying he hasn't done good things for Alabama but after this inexcusable loss it may be time to back the Brinks truck up to Swinney's door and tell him to help himself.

And to you LoserSU fricks, this aint no damn melt, it is just one man expressing his disappointment that after pledging allegiance to Bama before the NC game I somehow feel like maybe I jinxed the damn team. I wanted to be able to tell y'all I was the rabbit's foot after we whipped the Clementines asses but instead I feel like I put the "skunk foot" on Bama.

Ok, I guess I've said enough but I really need to get out of this post game funk....., I wonder if the wife will give it up the funk tonight?
