Anybody a fan of his? I've been going through as many of his novels as I can get my hands on lately. I know we've discussed "No Country For Old Men" on here before, but have yall read Blood Meridian?

That shite is haunting and disturbing in a mesmerizing way. Highly recommend.

Good author, but depressing as shite. His book The Road was outstanding, but not exactly the feel good novel of the year. Same with No Country For Old Men.

I read the Road and loved it but I can't get into Blood Meridian.

Have read The Road, Blood Meridian, All the Pretty Horses, Suttree, and Child of God.

I dig McCarthy

Suttree is next for me. I've heard it's outstanding.

The way I always try and sell Blood Meridian is that "The Judge" character is creepier than Anton Chigurh in No Country

I want to read The Road and NCFOM but the only book I read by him was All the Pretty Horses and I thought it was awful.
