...keeps their video surveillance. I don't know what the general practice is.
I don't know where they met in the hotel, but I bet they walked in and out the front door. How hard would it be to scan 1 day for 5 people. Roger, the Newtons, 2 MSU coaches... IDK

I'm sure the footage is long gone. Its been almost a year. That is, IF the cameras work at all...(you'd be surprised how many times they aren't)

if the FBI is involved, they could easily prove those guys were in starkville by looking at bank/credit card statements for that time period.

depends what kind of video server software they're using, how long the retention plan (if they even have one) is, and if they even had cameras in the area the meeting took place.
Installing video surveillance systems for 3 years I can tell you not all places have very good practices.

I think it's a known that they were all in Starkville (I thought so anyway)... the juicy stuff would be if they all met at the hotel.

I didn't know the Hilton was open then. If it was, it had just opened.

Meaningless. They have acknowledged being there. It was a game weekend and recruiting visit. In fact, video of all of them sitting in a room together would be meaningless, because they all have a reason to be there together. Audio is the key, or some sort of actual money trail.

There is a Hilton in Starkville? Or is that just what y'all call the Travelodge??

I was forced into supporting one at one time... I just set it for 3 months. I had no clue...

the rule of thumb is around 2-3 months for a standard.
Retention plans (backing up those months physially and storing them away for a period of time, usually 1-2 years) aren't used often at all. Mostly municipalities and schools, etc use these, not private companies.
You never really know.

Yea, we I did it, I just setup some Raid 3 config, and sent it to tape backup (weekly).

I really didn't see that... I was just thinking about it that's all. Didn't mean to steal your thunder.

It wouldn't make any difference. You could have video of them ALL IN one room, writing on a piece of checkbook sized paper, handing over brown paper sacks, and ringing a cow bell while striking the Heisman pose. They have a legitimate reason to all be there together, and talking, since it was a recruiting weekend.
