“You walk in, and everyone is crying,” former Alabama player Christion Jones is quoted as saying in the book. “Fifty percent crying and 50 percent tearing up. Coach Saban was in tears -- he could barely talk. His face was red. Everyone was emotional; it was a funeral moment.”

It was a crushing blow. I stared in disbelief. Not just at what had happened but the fact the 3 peat was gone. Bama crushes Florida State if they play. Winston would have had NO chance against the Bama D. Bama wins going away.

People who have strapped on the helmet know how gut wrenching a big loss can be. No shame in tears after battle.

frick Nick Saban's cheating arse. He has never won clean.

That is why he is crying horse turd sized tear over aTm legally buying teams. His buying players under the table advantage is now past tense.

He got out-coached. Unscrupulous little bastard can live with the result.

I could make the argument that one single play was the end of Saban's absolute peak years at Alabama.

Dumbest shite I’ve ever heard. After Kick Six, Bama went on a run of playing in every CFP since it started, winning three championship and playing for three more. He’s done his best coaching since 2013.

Saban made some bad decisions in that game. I don't blame him for crying.

Geez what a baby. Can you imagine losing 75% of your games against someone that soft?

Certainly acted as a catalyst for a revitalized program. Hindsight, it was a great moment for Bama football.

What? It was a fluke play, guy. That was it. It doesn't happen you probably have one more natty. Nothing changes.

Exactly. A lot of these morons don't understand that the pain and emotion of a hard loss is the crucible in which future champions are forged.

Saban is the GOAT but he is such a pussy when he doesn’t get his way. It was about this time he has a sudden “concerned for player safety” when the HUNHO’s were kicking his arse.

Kind of but not in nearly the same way as, say 2014, 2017 (championship but still a rebuilding year), and 2021 were
