DVH mentioned in his press conference they try to get 2.5 catchers. The .5 means a catcher who could play another position typically 1B/corner OF.

It should be, when you go from D1 top tier program to minors it’s a step back, from planes to buses. Facilities usually aren’t that great, your homes/food usually aren’t covered.

Russellville RHP Colton Sims will not be enrolling and has decided to pursue opportunities elsewhere per Kevin Bohannon.

That sucks... not a super high recruit, but looked to be quite talented.

Pirates GM says they are likely done signing draft picks. They have three that remain unsigned (including Bosnic). Maybe this is a negotiating tactic to try to get these guys to come down in asking price, or maybe Bosnic will make it to the Hill. Either way Bosnic and any other unsigned draft picks have until Monday to work out a deal, but from this, it is looking very good to get him to campus.
Smith, Tygart, McEntire, Wiggins, Morris, and Bosnic is going to be a fantastic start to our pitching staff if he comes to campus. That's 3 legit lefties on our staff plus the incoming Juco LHP Hollan. It's nice to see us getting more LHP for once.

Gregory was fascinating to watch. He was almost always going to walk or strike out, but he was going to foul tip the most beautiful 3-2 pitches to run up the pitch count to 9-10 pitches just to swing at something in the dirt.
