Does anyone know what it is ? I know he got an extension when he went to the Supers but I am not sure of the buyout after the season ends. I think we pay it and move on...19-20 overall and 6-11 in conference as of now is unacceptable.

Ray Tanner gave him a extension to 2 million this year. But I think it’s down to 1.6 now

Ray needs to pay the damn buyout out of his personal account.

Edit: Just came off a 10 month ban and still got a DV within 10minutes of being back. It feels great to know I wasn't forgotten lol.

I gotta give it to our Dv-er. They're persistent.

Another day comes and goes and Kingston is still our coach. Throw the bank at the Louisville Coach or the N. Dame Coach and let's roll.

I think if it hasn't happened yet, it probably won't happen

Not doing anything is sending a FU message to the fans. So we let Frank go, who at least got us to the FF, but keep a coach that can barely get us into a SEC tournament.

Clemson just fired Lee. Making Tanner look like even more like a bitch if he doesn’t do anything with Kingston.

Clempson cares about winning and we care about optics.

Guys on the radio yesterday pretty much confirmed Kingston is staying for next season. They said the speculation about Tanner's future here is likely a factor in the decision to keep him.

Being a long time Gamecock fan I'm used to being let down by football, I'm used to being let down by basketball but the 1thing I could always count on was Gamecock baseball. I remember the only thing we worried about was where our National seed was going to be but now...

Thanks Ray

No they were actually alluding to the rumors about Tanner retiring in the next year or so. I didn't realize he's already been our AD for 10 years and apparently that's longer than most ADs last at a school for one reason or another.

I guess the idea is if Tanner is leaving soon then he probably shouldn't be hiring any new coaches. Plus, who would want to coach here knowing the AD that hired you could be leaving before your first contract is over.

I know it's confusing bc he just hired Paris, but maybe something about RT's job status has changed recently.
