Its fricking pathetic how far we've fallen. No baseball team from the south should ever and I mean ever lose a game to Northwestern for any reason. They can't even practice for half the fricking year due to the weather.

I agree that this year is a big year, but Holbrook left us in an awful place. I put full blame on Tanner for letting holbrook hang around as long as he did. I do like Kingston, it was considered a pretty good hire and I don't dislike the guy. This season is a big one for his future, especially since the SEC is loading up.

Feel free to copy, paste or quote where I said that in this thread at any point. I never once said any of those programs are/were shitty. I pointed out that all of these low budget programs are actually getting fricking results for 20% of the money we spend.
South Carolina Baseball Recruiting = Texas or Florida Football recruiting
For us to be non ranked or lose to a team that can only practice 4/6 months out of the year (NorthWestern) is fricking in excusable.

Let me see if I can make this clear for you. With the exception of Oregon State, none of those teams have one multiple world series, none of had the success we have, none have our budget for baseball and absolutely none has our level of fan support. Are they solid programs, yes, should we ever not be ahead of them in rankings and at least ranked, absolutely fricking never.

I mean its baseball. youre not always going to be ranked ahead of the same people. Plus Clemson, while they havent won a title is a really good program. The others, yeah we at worst should be around. Sometimes teams (like Coastal) have good runs for a few years. You don't always have to be ahead of them.
The bigger metric is staying in the top 16, and even more so the top 8. We should do that every single year, these are the expectation that Richardson, Raines, and Ray set.
