At first glance, NO.

But when you look at what they have left against what the other wild card possible teams have left, there is a chance. If the Falcons go 4-2 or 5-1 through their final 6 games they’re in. They play Tampa Bay, Carolina, SF, Bills, Lions, and Saints. That would make the beginning of the new coaching regime a success and something to build on.

I'd say no but they could squeak in this year cause no one in the NFL looks unbeatable. If only the Falcons had a better Oline (which is weird cause we've been drafting OLine), we'd have a good shot at a decent-to-good year.

Saints look beatable but rivalry game (50/50)
TB is an L
Carolina is 50/50
Bills - depends which team ya get so 50/50
Lions is a W
SF is probably a L

I'd say: 3-3

TB has Evans and AB out so if there were ever a chance it's this week. We were within 3 on the road at the end of the third qtr last time before the wheels came off.

They're 5-7 but only 4 teams have a worse point differential. Their expected record based on differential is 3-9.

In other words, they're lucky to be 5-7. This team is absolutely terrible and this franchise needs to be completely torn down to the studs and rebuilt.

It's weird to watch the Falcons offense suck while the D is keeping them in games (until the 4th cause they're tired). I guess it doesn't help that we're fueled by a rookie and Ridley has something going on upstairs and is probably done with NFL.

I think Arthur Smith is a good coach, he just doesn't have enough good players. I really REALLY question how our OLine sucks so bad given how much effort we've spent there and drafted guys there. Guess those were just whiffs.

Trading Julio was the right move. But then you lose Ridley and you're fuct.

Yes it was. Should have been done when he came in whining about his contract before the 2019 season opener though. And yes, I actually did feel that way at the time.

Grady Jarrett needs to be the next guy traded. He is the only veteran on this team who could bring back any kind of return.

Ridley and Deion Jones probably need to go too, but I don't exactly think there would be a line of suitors looking to trade for either of them.

Deion Jones is a lock to be traded with how well Oluokun and Walker have played this season so far.
