Just like Chubb and company in 2017, I feel like Kirby lead teams are at their best with good upper classmen leadership.

Getting a good core of guys to come back and lead the team has been invaluable to UGA's success.

I hope we can continue to roll this moving forward as I feel like thats something that is somewhat out of the control of the coaches.

Here's to hoping this leadership shows up BIG Saturday.

For the life of me, I don't understand why we have to go 4 years in between core leadership from our seniors. They have seen multiple times what happens when they put the team first.

Why every group of rising juniors doesn't see this is a mystery.

They could use a leadership coach on staff that helps the team's student athlete leaders enhance their leadership skills

I think it’s different when talent and production combine with leadership. I mean. What if Juwan Taylor was a big vocal leader on the 18 team but then you see him go out there like a blind boogie monster and you think oh ok. No production needed.

Pretty much true of most teams and it obviously started with all those guys deciding to come back for their senior year.

Seems like the Juniors couldn't wait to jump ship in '18 and '19 and many weren't close to being taken on the 1st day (Holyfield,Fromm,Nauta, etc) Can't fault a guy for wanting to get paid but some woulda been better off sticking around.

Have to recruit leaders. Kirby only relatively recently figured out how to recruit talent AND personality. Big void of leadership after Richt guys left in 2017. 2021 is a demonstration of Kirby recruited leadership.
