Will they though? There’s 84 bowl eligible teams for 82 spots. South Carolina or LSU would have to take a non-SEC bowl tie in to make it. Just not sure how that plays out.

One year we ended up in the Armed Forces Bowl cause all the tie ins were used up. St Petersburg Bowl as well

There are 83 eligible for 82 spots. Yes, all will go to a bowl. It will be a 6-6 G5 team left out.

Consider what you are saying, and also consider ESPN (and thus, TV) controls the lower bowls to a great degree.

The lowest eligible teams from the SEC look to be LSU and Florida. Do you think ESPN will leave THOSE teams out? Joe Football Fan in the Midwest will watch them for name value.
