How long does a 18 pound turkey take to thaw out?

Was gonna put it out tonight.

Thanksgiving starts at noon.

My great granny who was born in the 1890s thought the microwave was the greatest invention. She had microwave cookbooks and everything. And yes, she did the Thanksgiving turkey in the microwave one year in the late 70s.

Drop it off at the place that deep fries them, pick it up the next day.

I think you can fry a frozen turkey. Should cook quicker.

No, it was chewy, dry and terrible. And we damn sure ate every piece, including all the gristle and giblets.

Put it on high and wrap it in tin foil. Put it on for 10 minutes and it will be cooked.
