Is Cuonzo's buyout still $6M this offseason? He needs to go but it is realistic that he's gone after this year?

He is unfireable until May 1, 2022 at which point his buyout will be $6M. So no, it is not realistic that he’s gone after this year. Best case is we fire him after NEXT season assuming we’re willing to eat $6M.
Expect for Cuonzo ball to be around until 2023 or 2024.

Where are you seeing this. You may very well be right but everything I read said it’s 1/2 that and will be 1/6 of that

See Paragraph 11 of his contract. Because we’ve hit 2 “Trigger Events” (i.e. making the NCAA Tournament), the termination timelines have been pushed back 2 years. We are now on “Chart C” of Paragraph 11 since he’s made the NCAA Tournament twice.

Trailed by 12 with 8.5 minutes left. Trailed by 5 with 2 minutes left. Not sure how they rallied like that but credit where it’s due, they performed well the last 15 or so minutes of the game.

This doesn’t mean anything. Mizzou could fire him tomorrow. It would mean they would have to pay a lot of money. He isn’t really unfireable.
