Is not good for the Hogs. Muss was about to stroke out. Hogs have given up 43 made threes in 3 games.

Yes totally agree we've got to get better at defending the 3. Tonight though they shot better than any team i've seen since the dance last year.

The problem will be fixed or we won't make it to March Madness.

More and more emphasis on other teams shooting 3's too.

Especially these early non-conference teams, it's easier for them to have a great shooting night than attack the rim to keep it close.

3>2.

At least 13 3's made by every team they've played so far this year. That's unreal.

Even the uni players looked impressed several times.

Every team we’ve played has shot above 41% from 3. Is that just the way every team shoots now or is it our lack of defense?

That’s what G5 teams do. It’s basically their only chance at winning at a P5 is to toss up 3’s. UNI made wildly contested shots all night. Not much you can do about that.

Against KState, I don’t think we see the same issue.

Yeah it’s the equivalent of the air raid offense. Your going to win some games you shouldn’t, but also capabale of blowing a 20 point lead at any moment

Our perimeter D was pretty good IMO. UNI was just on fire last night. Props to ours guys for just keeping up the pressure and scoring every way we could. Mike Anderson team would have been blown out by 20+. I thought we passed the ball much better and save a couple of heat checks from lykes and notae had good shot selection.

That felt like a tournament game. Was a really fun watch.

I haven't seen a team that hot in a while. We could have stabbed those guys with a pitchfork and they still would have made those shots. We did, thankfully, close out strong once again when it mattered.
