As far as guards go, truss is still better than most in my opinion in space. He is much more athletic than WE in my opinion.

He got flat on his face on an interior block, though. Ended up tripping the tailback. Despite a few blemishes, he appeared significantly better than WE, imo. After all, we accept those same types of blemishes from Shaffer each week (falling flat on his face).

If Broderick Jones keeps playing well, does Salyer move to a guard spot?

Personally I like what I've seen from him of late. If you get a chance to watch the most recent Brooks Austin (maybe it was an NBR) he shows one of the clips of Truss in space getting knocked down by a DB and fortunately JC is able to jump over his leg rather than trip, but probably cost a few yards in cutback potential.
