He said because Jimbo’s offense goes so slow, it allowed them to substitute no problem on defense and allowed them to take breaks in between plays so the depth issue that plagued them against fast offenses like Arkansas and Tennessee was not an issue.

Jimbo is the Texas equivalent of Eddie O. I hope he stays there forever. If he was at OM we’d be 5-5 right now.

He should have thanked him for failing to recruit a Division 1 QB to back up Haynes King. That was the real reason our offense sucked.

He’s right. We’ve also seen that Calzada is better with a little tempo - doesn’t get in his head so much.
