1. But it is located in a shite town in the middle of nowhere.
2. Why is endowment relevant if the salary remains the same?
3. You’re school is the “Agriculture and Mechanics” institution for a state that ranks towards the bottom of most education metrics. I wouldn’t be sparring academics with anyone. You also accept almost anyone who applies.
4. LSU living in a “bubble” is an advantage. They own the state. No one will want to live in College Station with a brigade of farmers when they can live in Austin, near Dallas, Houston, etc.
