We are really freaking good again. After 20 years of horrendous basketball for the most part, to suddenly have a team that is capable of winning the championship just as much as anyone the way it is now seems unbelievable to me. All the 3s. I watch them and still can’t believe what I see. I hope we aren’t cheating.

Oats will leave as soon as a decent school opens up in the midwest, unless yall build a badass arena (not some pussy 9k seat gymnasium like Auburn) 15k plus seats.

Yea, Auburn Arena has really kept us from achieving anything in basketball....
If only we could have a decent home-court advantage....

It's football season in Tuscaloosa, AL and all over the south. Nothing else matters until mid January or February if the Titans are still in play.. or falcons,saints,bucs,dolphins,
jags, panthers,texans,cowboys,chiefs, ravens.. but mostly just Titans.

Some of our best games were played at Barnhill Arena which sat 9,000 fans. No one wanted to play us there. It was as loud as anything I've heard in there. Great memories.

Barnhill was one of the loudest places I have ever been in. it was small but the feeling you got was that the fans were so close to the court.

He coached in the sweet 16 in his second year at Bama which is something Wade has yet to do In 9 years of coaching and he was at a decent school in VCU before LSU

I was around when they were really good (Wimp's tenure) and saw huge crowds regularly w/ a lot of sellouts.
If/when this happens again, the AD will open the wallet for Oats to keep him in Tuscaloosa.
