You suck at life thread.
Humble, relatable and loves his team and the opportunity he was provided
Here is to you, Coach! Keep leading as you do. It is impactful for young men and developing coaches. Great example of a man.

he is a great person, shaping young men to be great citizens is what it is all about. I never had a son but if I did and he is coached by someone like Coach Pittman it would be awesome.

Glad he is ours. Outside of his personality, his turnaround of the Arkansas program is pretty remarkable. He took over a program that Bert ran off the road and Chad Morris took off a cliff.
In year 1, he dealt with COVID and led the Hogs to 3 SEC wins. In year 2 he is bowl eligible in 9 games after playing a schedule that consisted of Texas, Texas A&M, Georgia, Ole Miss, Auburn, and Mississippi State. He has a top 20 recruiting class and a Sophomore QB and a Freshman stable of RBs to build around for the next two years.
The hire of Pittman gave fans hope the program would be stabilized, but I don’t even think the biggest homers thought an 8 or 9 win season was a possibility in year 2.
Good job Pitt Boss

I believe tomorrow is the 2 year anniversary of firing Chard, followed by playing LSU as a 45 point dog. We are 6-3 favored by 3 on the road against LSU. I love Sam Pittman.

How can anyone not like Sam “yes sirrrrrrrr” Pittman. He’s like a refreshing flashback to the great coaching personalities in this conference I’ve been starting to miss

It is literally impossible, unless, as mentioned, you suck at life

Perfect coach for Arky, good guy, a grinder

All well deserved compliments aside, his wrists and hands do look unusually small for the rest of his body.
Literally, the only knock on the man. "YES, SIRRRRR!"

That’s my favorite part about him

Probably one of the 5-10 best coaches in the nation right now.

I don’t know if he’s the best coach we could have hired, but he’s the best coach for the situation at Arkansas. He’s building a foundation back into the program. Recruiting well, improving the line of scrimmage play on both sides (our O line has quietly turned into a formidable front). Brought in great coordinators and position coaches. He’s locked down the state in recruiting as I believe we have gotten commitments from all the in-state players with p5 potential.
We still don’t have depth. I’d say we’re 2 years away from true depth. Might be a slight drop off next year, but in 2023 KJ will be a senior and we’ll have a very talented and deep roster if we continue to recruit well and use the transfer market.

He's the coach we had to have. More than anything we had to have someone who could rebuild the program... not from the ground up, but from the basement up. I cannot over state just how bad of a shape the football program was in under Chad.
We were not just knocking on Death's Door, we'd opened it right on up, gone in and taken a seat on Death's Couch.

He’s a lesson for schools hiring coaches. Find the best fit, not the splashiest hire.
There were a lot of laughs when we hired Sam.

The about face of many from "lol wut" to "tremendous hire" has been nice to watch. The coaching profession has gotten out of control and I am glad we didn't go with the "typical" route
The best part is, no mater how well he does here, he won't leave for somewhere else. How many programs don't have that worry??

You’re telling me Pittman isn’t an OT 10?

Well, he was an unknown given lack of everyone's exposure to him outside of UGA. But, he has certainly win over the masses from his initial press conference and gratitude to everything after.
Seems like one of the, unfortunately too few, good guys
